In case you have not heard yet, Mrs. Obama touched the Queen of England...ooooh! Oh No! Scaaarry! Who the hell really cares, and WHY? I'm not even going to try to understand this Royal stupidity, but if you're actually bored enough to read more about it, click here.
Apparently you're not supposed to EVER touch the Queen or any other "royalty" because we lowly peasants are just not worthy. I thought that sort of retarded notion went out 100 years ago with slavery and all sorts of other "Equality" issues...apparently not.
I think we should adopt that sort of policy here in the US, but for a different group of people...strippers and polictians...and pretty much for the same reason: they both tease you with the promise of something great, but in the end, leave you sad and dejected and needing to take care of business on your own without them!
Obviously, touching strippers, or even being in their immediate vacinity is not a good idea under any circumstances (unless that's just your thing or you happen to be a polictician!), but if they are bad for you, just imaging what kind of funk could be contracted by touching a politician!
On the topic of "bailouts" for failing private corporations, you could become so afflicted by touching a polictian that you might actually begin to believe that it's a good thing to spend tax-payer dollars to save failing companies due to poor management, unbridled greed, and crappy products.
After touching a politician, your next impusive thought could be: <hmmm...the company makes shitty cars, charges WAAAY too much for them, pays their employees too much, are slaves to the Union, and pays their top managers zillions while the company takes a huge dump all over Wall Street and screws thousands of small vendors and laughs all the way to the bank....sounds fine to me, let's give them a few BILLION dollars!>
Trust me, this could not be good for ANYONE...look what's it's doing to our country already!
Just image what would happen if WorldCom, Enron and Adelphia were around today and began unraveling as they did. Care to guess what would haappen? The Government would step in to support them in a rediculous attempt to stave off additional unemployement concerns or further market riffs, and prop up the companies individually with BILLIONS of tax-payer dollars (and pay off all of the theives within it) just to avoid the loss of another shitty company that should not be here in the first place....General Motors, are you listening!
When thinking about taxes, you could even begin thinking <hmmm....the government is not making enough money because too many businesses are failing, so let's punish the remaining few by raising taxes on EVERYTHING in hopes of making enough money off of the remaining suckers who are dumb enough to stay in business, so that their tax income will compensate for the loss of the ones that are now gone...yea, that's a good business incentive!>
So, in such a tumultuos world as the one we're living in today, don't we have something more important to focus on than some bloated, crusty, old wind-bag of a Royal-dinosaur, clinging to the failed notions and mentality of royalty and empires long past. Who the hell really cares who touched whom...maybe Queenie has a little girly-crush on Mrs. O...again, not our business, and we have more pressing issues.
FOCUS PEOPLE, FOCUS! The whole world is floundering under the baraage of a complete SHIT STORM, and we're concerned about somebody touching Queen??!!?? WTF?!?
